A Warm Welcome From

Tash Williams

Welcome to Wendron Church of England Primary School, and thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We are proud to be a small, nurturing village school at the heart of our community, situated just outside Helston.

At Wendron, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and inspired to achieve their very best. Our vision, “To be the best we can be… to live life, life in all its fullness” (John 10:10), sits at the centre of everything we do and shapes both our learning and our relationships.

Our Christian values of Respect, Hope, Thankfulness, Trust, Perseverance and Wisdom are woven throughout school life and help us to create a caring environment where children are encouraged to flourish academically, socially and emotionally. We are proud of the strong relationships between staff, pupils and families, and of the warm, inclusive atmosphere that visitors so often comment upon.

As part of the Kernow Learning Trust family of schools, we benefit from strong partnerships, shared expertise and exciting opportunities for both children and staff, whilst still maintaining the unique character and community feel that makes Wendron so special.

We hope our website gives you a flavour of life at Wendron, celebrating the opportunities, experiences and achievements that make our school such a special place to learn and grow. However, there is no substitute for seeing our school in action, and we would be delighted to welcome you for a visit.

If you would like to arrange a tour, or if you have any questions, please contact our school office on 01326 573187 or via email at wendron@kernowlearning.co.uk

We look forward to welcoming you to our school community.
